Lead guitarist for the great names of Spanish hard rock. Rubber fingers, a stage-sized heart and more than twenty-five years raising hell with Coz, Panzer, Bella Bestia, Rosa Negra and his own international project, White Blast.

Master of the guitar
The Cub
Miguel Ángel López Escámez was born on 25 May 1980 in Cartagena (Spain) and knew very early what he wanted: to make music from its wildest, most fun side. He learned by ear, practising four to twelve hours a day, following Randy Rhoads, Rough Cutt, King Kobra and Icon and devouring Spanish hard rock and heavy metal: Barón Rojo, Obús, Banzai, Sangre Azul, Panzer, Bella Bestia, Rosa Negra.
Years later he would share stages with many of them. Because of the age gap with his veteran mentors he was nicknamed “El Cachorro” — the Cub, the young generation ready to take over. Today he is the driving force behind historic bands and one of the most in-demand guitarists in Spanish hard rock.
“A guitarist set on digging into the heavy sound of the eighties. His personal technique is putting heart into it.”Carlos Pina · Panzer
